Main River Safari lodges are located in an extremely-remote area, on
the great Northern Peninsula of Newfoundland & Labrador, in the Long
Range Mountains. Because of sheer isolation, you can get to us only by
air, or by snowmobile! We have two lodges - the Main Lodge, and the
Arkluk Lodge. Our main lodge is fully- equipped, and capable of
accommodating up to 10 people, in double-occupancy rooms. Our lodge
contains a modern kitchen, dining room, and indoor plumbing, and has
separate showers.
Electricity is provided, together with HF radios, just in case you may
have a need to communicate with homebase.
Enjoy each day of your stay with us, travelling the beautiful,
snow-covered, and scenic countryside on your snowmobile. Then, at
the end of the day, relax in our spacious and modern Main River Lodge,
nestled deep in the heart of the Main River Valley. Enjoy a traditional
Newfoundland fare, or a more continental cuisine.
